Self-Esteem Game Changer
Bet you've heard of the common fight-or-flight response mechanism when we're in crisis mode.... I think it's missing an option or two...
Freeze and please. Fight, flight, freeze or please.
When facing a crisis we fight, we run, we freeze up or we try to please. And these choices impact our esteem. Here's how I see it:
Fight? I want to prove I'm right. Flight? My fear has me high-tailing it out of the situation. Freeze? I'm too scared to even run away or take ANY action. Please? I'll work to get approval and raise your expectation of me. ---------------------------------------------------- Survival responses. Would you like a THRIVE-AL response?
Ask yourself this: What if I was more than what people told me? What if I was more than I currently believed?
Just curious...when WAS the last time you thought you were MORE THAN ENOUGH?
