Still Can’t Lose Weight?
Fast food on every corner, office break rooms filled with donuts, crazy good coffee drinks.......it’s a jungle out there!
A jungle of information, too. Low carb, high pro, gluten-free, paleo...no wonder folks can’t lose weight, or can’t keep it off [which is actually the bigger problem].
So let’s start here...there is no one size fits all diet. Lotsa good programs. But when you best friend tells you about this great diet she’s on, danger, Will Robinson.
To find what will work for you, KNOW YOURSELF. People are not all the same -- especially when it comes to food. [Ok, when it comes to most things.] Where or if you succeed on your diet program has a lot to do with:
The food program [my sister loses on low carb; I get sick]
How you view eating in general [enjoy it or a necessity]
Emotional role of food [filling your stomach or filling a hole]
Habits [snacks, late night, eat while cooking, when smoking]
Beliefs [I’m destined too be fat--look at my parents]
Environment [any saboteurs hidden?]
Support and accountability [set up to succeed]
Motivation [doing it for you or someone else]

Feels overwhelming, huh...want to eat that bag of chips in the cupboard, doncha?
Can we be honest here? [it’s just us..] I know you hate being fat, but did you know this? Most people don’t take action till the pain of staying the same becomes greater than the pain of changing.
Life can be tough, but you don’t have to go it alone.
