Why I never Argue with a Toddler |

Why Arguing with a Toddler is Useless Any parents or teachers out there who have successfully argued with a little kid? [note the word "successfully] Why do you think the adult's frequent final response in most arguments is "because I said so" ? I think it's because kids don't feel a need to operate from logic, experience or rationality. They want what they want when they want it. Are they being selfish? Is a tantrum the behaviour of a spoiled kid or might it be a kid trying to get its needs met or to be "heard"? How about when adults have tantrums? What do you think? Be an observer next time and see what happens. The easy part of coaching is talking about what other people do or are still doing that frustrate you. "When I change the way I look at thngs, the things I look at change." -Wayne Dyer
