How Big is Your Brave? |

How Big is Your Brave? This blog is inspired from reading Dr Lissa Rankin's book, The Fear Cure.
I actually don't think my "strong" was real-- often it felt like a close- your- eyes- and- jump kind of strong. And my "weak"? Well, that was pure fear. Covert, insidious and powerful. One might say I was strong in my weak and weak in my strong. Or better yet...my brave wasn't very big. Which brings me to talking about bravery's second cousin-- fear. Dr. Rankin says we live with Four Fearful Assumptions. Can I get an amen? For me, in all of this, to allow safety, peace and healing to come in my life, I am realizing I must let go of my own fearful beliefs that say: This world will not give you what God says you deserve. Right there it is, Friends. Beliefs that reinforce the good doc's Fearful Four. Do your beliefs say the same? Consider... what if there is another way to live? What if we don't cure fear but let fear cure us? ================================
