Discovering the Best in You. |

Discovering the Best in You. Your biggest discovery of Self may be this: the pain you perceive is part of your path, but it is Not Your Truth and it’s certainly not God’s Truth. Life repeatedly brings us moments that show us the limitations we are hiding in the darkness. These “trials” show up to help us see one thing: that the perceived truth about our present level of self, doesn’t match the truth of our Real Self. Hiding in darkness doesn’t make your truth “go away”…in fact it guarantees the trials will surface again as the Real Self is trying to emerge. It’s a good thing. We are here to experience the rise above darkness. Challenges show up FOR your highest good, not to punish you, not to play out some karma, not because they are your destiny. They come so you can see how you hid the power of your Divine Essence. They come to liberate you from the illusion “I am not enough.” To quote Guy Finley, “What appears to be in our way is part of the Way.”
The challenges aren’t bad, friend--we need the darkness to be able to recognize the presence [or absence] of light. Once you accept this, you can choose to let go of that old part that wants to remain a caterpillar, living in a confining cocoon and never breaking free. Here’s a big lie we tell ourselves: we stay in a cocoon built of anger, pain and hate because it feels safe. We see the restriction and limitation as a trade-off for the illusion of protection and safety. Growth is impossible in a cocoon, but at least we’re safe, right? But what happens to the caterpillar that stays in the cocoon? We forgot a very important fact: cocoons were never meant to be permanent. [This is why we don’t forgive. Forgivenessness is actually breaking out of the cocoon.] True freedom is not overcoming fear and darkness; it is allowing the truth of your Light to shine. No need to fix or change...transmute. This is our metamorphosis into a life without limits- living in the Divine Light of Who We Are. When you learn to see the Truth of you, your life will become a Divine journey. When you learn how loved you are, the chrysalis breaks open. When you stand in the Light, the darkness no longer controls you.
Welcome home. You are now a butterfy.
