Why This, Why Me? |

Why This, Why Me? If you're at all like me, some of you may be getting pretty sick and tired of this whole adult journey and its problems. Right? And then comes the $64,000 question: That one little "why" can really spiral you downward.... Can you see why the journey feels so hard--we're swimming upstream, fer crying out loud! -YOU CAN NEVER FIND JOY WHEN YOU ASK "WHY" . -ASKING "WHY" IS AN OUTSIDE DISRUPTION TO YOUR INNER PEACE AND JOY. What to do, Grasshopper? Knee deep in the muck and mire? Choose a new thought, a new and better feeling and focus on it for just a second. Taking that second away from the muck can inspire you to continue in the NEW moment/feeling/thought until you are centered in its new energy. Energy that build up vs tears down. [Some will say "Oh, that's pyscho-babble and it does not work". I know, I know-- the list of excuses is long, AND ALL ARE JUST MORE ROCKS FOR THE SLIPPERY SLOPE. You can stay go right ahead and stay stubbornly on the slope...I'll pass.] Situations created by others do not have to be your slippery slope; they do not have to own you. Do not allow the energy or belief of others to spoil your new moment. There resides in us all, a flickering flame of joy that has not been destroyed by the drama of life. Begin by seeing then accepting the fruit bearing branch of this flame, daily. One second at a time, if needed. Regardless of how deep it resides, joy can be found. In fact, if you take the time -even that small moment- joy will find you. Your job [should you choose to accept it] is to allow the joy to come forth.
